Phase one: The Story of the Humans.
Humans are in charge of their own destiny. Because of this,
humans are a special species of animal. Humans can decide to create or destroy humans because they're not blinded by instinct.
We can be the instument of our future or our demise as a race. Another dividing factor is that humans wish to find the source
of their life. The human race has given birth to countless volumes and has spent even more thoughts on this subject. Man is
also different because it can be aware of it's own savagery. It is also different because it wishes to deny it, when all a
human is is a complicated animal. Are we really more complex them other animals, or is that just another farce? Cities. A
world of man-made things. Genorations evolving to better suit this world, and the world is evolving to. The design of the
human body constantly upgrading itself to keep up with the sky-high ideas of what it serves to contain. Consider that for
a moment. The human body serves as a container for something much larger than itself. Inside the body is the mind, soul, or
whatever you wish to call it. And inside this little-understood entity, is an infinate universe. The self doesn't have a bottom
to be reached. You can plumb the depths of your mind, but have you ever found the place where it ends? There is no end to
the self. If you try to seek it inside your mind, you'll never find it. Besides, it was already moved back by the idea that
you can't reach it. The mind is constantly expanding, like the universe. New memories and ideas are born every day. Thoughs
in pictures. Thoughts in words. Thoughts in neither. When you draw a pictoral thought from your mind, you can see it.
We have another set of eyes. We have a pair tha corresponds with our nonphysical self. Can anyone say where our thoughs and
consiousness come from? Can you tell me what they are? No, because no one really knows anything at all. We try to make sense
of everything around us in attempt to hid our own cluelessness. That is another thing that makes us different. We yell in
our minds to anyone that could give us answers "What is a human?" When silence and echos reach us, we try to find out for
ourselves. Once we have asked this, we cannot return to our old lives ever again. Once someone has such an idea, they can't
forget it. Everything in the world becomes full of questions. Everything has a deeper meaning. Hinting at what? What is the
universe trying to tell us? People who use drugs to expand their consiousness need not. Consiousness can expand itself. It
is constantly changing and growing with time. It can create ideas that change it's nature forever. You can try to ignore and
squelch these ideas, but they're always there. A darkness rising below you that strains to break free. People fear that their
consiousness will be changed, but that is nothing but a fear of what is natural. The internal universe is always changing.
We can learn from our mistakes and successes. We can concive new ideas. We can think for ourselves. We can be human. To be
human is to be an entity that wishes to reach up to grab the hand of God. Our mark is everywhere. Our cities spread all over
the world. Lights that we created glow on the dark side of the world like a name etched into a tree. We humans live here.
We have made this place our own. The highest achievement of man is that it can be seen from slightly outside it's own little
sphere. It is only right that the side that faces away from the sun and to everything outwards and beyond is the side that
is illuminated in the darkness. Us in our tiny glowing cities, staring into infinity and reaching out to touch our own fate.
Phase
two: Matter and Spirit.
Human bodies, like everything else, are made of matter. This is the same matter that was
present at the birth of the universe, and it will stay until the end. Our bodies are billions of years old. String Theory.
Your matter and my matter are as all matter, resonating. Resonating like the strings on a violin. Every particle in our bodies
is a string on the musical instrument that is the universe. God is a musician. The universe is the instrument on which it
plays. Everything in the universe that can be percived is the song. The fact that we are alive, the things we see that are
alive, the things we see that are not. All of these are like notes. This is the music of the spheres. The human love of music
and their age-old wish to make it is like the signature of the creator. This is the thing that connects us to it. This is
what it means to say that God made man in it's own image. God, the instrumentalist, created life so that, when intelligent
beings evolved, they would wish to be instrumentalists as well. Our bodies are as old as the universe. Our souls were born
in antiquity as well. Rencarnation? I see nothing to disprove it. Why retire a perfectly good soul after a certain number
of trips around the sun? Our past lives are lost in past brains. The brain is a tool of the soul. It allows the soul to bind
to the body. A soul binds to a mind with a unique "code." This is the signature of the soul. It is determined by the nature
of the soul. When a soul enters a body, it "imprints" itself on the brain using this code. The result is that the brain's
unique "chemistry" is set, with the amounts of different chemicals released determined by the code of the soul. Aside from
being the seat of the soul, the brain serves as storage. Memories and learned skills are kept in the brain. That's why we
don't carry entire memory banks from past lives. A soul could take snippets of memory with it, but most of it is always left
behind. Upon the death of a body, the memories collected disperse. A soul outside a body could access these at any time, but
a soul within a body cannot. A soul can find it's memories in dreams or upon death, when it wanders on it's own, free of it's
fetters. Dreams are the soul wandering within itself as directed by it's subconsious half. Thoughts are the soul wandering
within itself as directed by it's consious half. The brain also performs involentary functions for the soul so the soul can
be free to wander within itself. Our bodies have been water, air, trees, smoke, parts of stars, and many other things. Out
souls have lived the lives of many people. Matter and spirit both cycle in the universe. The soul eventually moves into an
eternal afterlife, where as matter cycles on the material plane forever. That's because souls aren't made of matter, thus
don't resonate with everything else. They are the spectators to the symphony. We wish to read the sheet music so we can learn
to play a bit of this music ourselves. That's what science is. An attempt to read and reproduce. but it is not a successful
one. It is a pale and hollow work based on what makes sense to us, with our human minds and little expirience. We cannot play
divine music because our minds will only expand so much in our mortal lives. Perhaps, when our souls have at least broken
out of their cycles, we will be able to understand and play this music. We will be a heavenly choir, after all.
Phase
three: Life and the Universe
The universe. This is where we live. Life. This is what we are, alive. Do we even
know what they are? No. There are endless volumes on these subjects, but not one of them has the answer. We don't know how
they began, or their inherrent nature. All we can give are theories and description. How did the universe progress from being
nothing to being inhabited by intelligent beings that comptentplate it's orgins? All matter resonates. A universe is born.
The sounds of an orchestra tuning. To know the universe is to read the mind of God, and that is impossible. The universe cannot
be infinate, though. That is just another idea. In ancient times, we must have thought the earth to be infinate. When we find
the borders of something, we say that there is something infinate beyond it. There is something beyond the universe, as well.
Something vast and mysterious. Something that is the source of all things. It fills the universe and stretches beyond it.
It is that which we come from and that which we return to. It's home. Home for a human life is within the universe. But home
for the spiritual being that a "human" is outside of it. Our bodies are not our own. They are matter, and matter cannot be
posessed. Matter is just something that keeps to itself. When it's through being something, it goes off to be something else.
All that can be posessed is what's inside of us. Our ideas, our thoughts, our personalites, what we care for, what we hate,
what makes us who we are. It is an amazing thing that the only things we can own are the only things that really matter. The
inner universe is a sacred place in which no one has thr right to intrude. It is up to it's owner to decide what is done with
it and who can be let in. In that sense, we have more power in our universes than God has in it's universe. Notes and tones
are not controled by the instrumentalist, they are controlled by the resonance of the strings. All that the player can do
is strike them and listen to what comes out. What will come out? The song being played is still being composed. Still composing
itself. It would be wise to assume that the culmination of all things would be a complete merge of worlds. The universe
and the spiritual place beyond it would blur and fill eachother until they were one and the same. Matter and spirit would
be as one. This would be an eternal world made from what was essentially the end of two. Human evolution will have taken us
to the point where "soul" and "body" would be the same thing. That which is spiritual is made physical, that which is physical
is made spiritual. Everything strengthens and compliments everything else. Matter no longer needs to cycle. Spirit now can
be part of the symphony. All things remain constant. All things become smooth and even. All things now have endless possiblity.
There is no such thing as "fiction" or "reality" or "death" or "life" anymore. This is the purpose of the universe that I
have found to be both ideal and logical. In that world, nothing has limits... And all things resonate.
